CURRICULUM
Our Nursey And Your Child
Only a parent can truly appreciate what it is that makes the very best of childcare. The setting, the staff, the security and the activities are all equally important and deserve the highest attention to detail. We have a clear commitment to maintaining high standards in all areas of the Creative Kids Academy Nursery.
Every child deserves the best possible start and support in life to fulfil their potential. A child’s experience in the early years has a major impact on their future life chances. A secure, safe and happy childhood is important in its own right, and it provides the foundation for children to make the most of their abilities and talents as they grow up. When parents choose to send their child to a nursery, they want to know that provision will keep their children safe and help them to thrive.
Creative Kids Academy Nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to provide that assurance and the highest level of care and education for all the children, encouraging true learning through play’.
Children have a natural sense of curiosity, to investigate and learn as they play therefore, we create those learning opportunities to meet the needs of each child as an individual. We provide a happy, warm, stimulating and safe environment in which children can develop physically, intellectually, socially and emotionally. As they participate in a variety of creative activities, the children gain confidence in their own abilities and practice their developing skills.
Children are placed in classes according to their age and developmental needs. The progress of development is assessed using the EYFS Profile and resources available are carefully chosen to suit the child’s age and stage of development.
Through the EYFS our aim is to help young children achieve the five Every Child Matters outcomes of staying safe, being healthy, enjoying and achieving, making a positive contribution, and achieving economic well-being by:
- Setting the standards for the learning, development and care young children should experience when they are attending a setting outside their family home, ensuring that every child makes progress and that no child gets left behind;
- Providing for equality of opportunity and anti-discriminatory practice and ensuring that every child is included and not disadvantaged because of ethnicity, home language, family background, learning difficulties or disabilities, gender or ability;
- Creating the framework for partnership working between parents and professionals, and between all the settings that the child attends;
- Improving quality and consistency in the early years sector through a universal set of standards which apply to all settings, ending the distinction between care and learning in the existing frameworks, and providing the basis for the inspection and regulation regime;
- Laying a secure foundation for future learning through learning and development that is planned around the individual needs and interests of the child, and informed by the use of ongoing observational assessment.

Language and Cultural Development
Living in a culturally diverse society where languages are a top focus is proving to be important for families with young children. Many children in UAE grow up in multi-lingual environments. They often live, learn and interact in different languages.
We believe that learning multiple languages; during early stage bring lots of benefits to young children. Bringing very young children in to contact with foreign languages may result in faster language acquisition as well as improve mother tongue skills. Along with this, it provides a great foundation with early language exposure in preparation for starting schools in UAE.
We also emphasize on Islamic values offering children Islamic and Quran lessons daily. An international, multi-lingual environment therefore helps children develop effective communication tools – a must in today’s international world. Our emphasis on English and Arabic is enabling students to get into any school. Our language philosophy lays strong foundations that children can build on to help them meet the challenges of the 21st Century while valuing UAE and other cultures and their heritage.
